Dump Cake

Ok get your minds out of the gutter LOL !

1 can of cherry pie filling
1 8 oz can of crushed pineapple
1 box of dry yellow cake mix
2 sticks of melted butter
1 bag of crushed coconut
1 or 2 bags of pecan pieces
1 9x12 GLASS baking dish

Open can of cherry pie filling spread over the bottom of the baking dish evenly juice and all
Note: Personally I like lots of cherries so I use 1.5 cans of pie filling. 1 can everything then 1/2 can cherries only (as much as you can)

open pineapple spread evenly over the cherries … juice and all …

next take the DRY cake mix and spread next … as even as you can (doesn’t have to be perfect but close)

melt the 2 sticks of butter and pour over the top of the cake mix … just pour it and again try to get the top evenly coated

Sprinkle the coconut over the top next. again even layer. recipe calls for 8.5 oz bag but if you really like coconut I don’t see any reason not to add a bit more

Next the pecans. add them as you like you could probably skip them but they give it a nice nutty crunch.

bake in the oven at 350 for about an hour. Oven cooking times may vary a bit but never seen one cook this in less than an hour … let stand for a little bit after taking it out of the oven

sit back and enjoy … it is good hot, warm or cold … imho
