Orc's Spicy Black Bean Chili

1 gnome heart (optional)
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
2 16oz cans black beans
1 16 oz can pinto beans
1 20oz can stewed tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, (red or green), chopped
2 whole jalapeno chile pepper, seeds removed and chopped
2 Tbsp garlic, minced
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
2 tsp chili powder
1 cup corn
Cayenne powder to taste (for the epic version)

Sautee vegetables and cilantro in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat until veggies are soft (about 5 mins). Transfer vegetables to a large pot, add spices, tomatoes (undrained)and beans and simmer for 15 mins.

You can add extra water for a ‘soupier’ consistency.

Use only one jalapeno and omit the cayenne if you don’t like spicy.

Omit the gnome heart if you don’t eat gnomes…

P.S. - I won $50 in a chili cook-off with this recipe!

Orc I went and gathered the mats to make this…had hell finding a gnome heart tho so used a dwarf. Seriously I am making this thursday for dinner as I will have some friends over

The Dwarf heart should work. It is slightly more bitter than gnome and leaves a small “after-taste”.
If you add a dash of Murloc blood it will mask the bitterness.

Enjoy! Let me know how it goes.

Chili goes great with a Shiraz if you run out of moonshine…
