Sammyjo’s Peanut Butter cookies got me thinking back to my middle school cafeteria days:
PEANUT BUTTER AND CORNFLAKE SQUARES
1 c. white sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. Karo syrup
5 c. corn flakes
Combine sugar and syrup in saucepan. Heat mixture on stove until mixture slightly boils up once. Remove from stove and add peanut butter and cornflakes. Mix well, working quickly. Put into a 9x12-inch pan and press down. Cut into squares before completely cooled. This recipe may be doubled or tripled easily.
